Wow. For quite some time I had lost faith in the music industry with all the American Idol / pop / dance / rap stuff they've been throwing our way. Now mind you, I like all of that but sometimes you just want some great hooks, guitar solos, Hammond B3 organs and someone with a voice. This album is it. I had always liked the popular songs I heard from Train on the radio but never made the leap to purchase one of their albums until now. I saw them open for Bon Jovi at the New Meadowlands here in NJ and they were great so I figured I liked what I heard so I bought the CD and man, I am a happy camper.
The album is terrific start to finish with enough high energy tracks mixed in with some slower ballads to keep things interesting. On songs like "Hey Soul Sister" and "If It's Love" there's some terrific lyrics that makes you think you're listening to the clever wordplay of old school rap (back in the day when they actually cared about the rhymes) and then there are some songs that just make you smile on those days that seem to be just out to get you like "Parachute" and "Words." Toss in a mandatory broken heart ballad and uplifting "we can have it all" tune and you've got the complete picture.
Go buy this CD now. You will not be disappointed!

This is a terrific CD from Train. Not a bummer song on it. My fav being Save Me San Francisco and Soul Sister. I will listen to this over and over. Fantastic!!

I do not buy many CD's, however I saw a performance of "Soul Sister" on TV and I loved it. I bought the CD to listen to in my car.....I just love it!! 1 or 2 songs that are a little slow and forgetable, but the rest are catchy fun songs! I am a new Train fan!
