Refreshing July 11, 2010 Jimmy (Ogden, Ut. USA) I usually come across one good album every year. 'Conditions' is just that. I really like the single 'Sweet Disposition'. I was glad I purchesd the entire MP3 album because it plays well, straight through, as an entire album. "Conditions' sounds like it is a 3rd or 4th effort from a seasoned band, however this is Temper Trap's first release (I believe). Enjoy!
the temper trap May 27, 2010 Kim-gai Wright (sydney nsw aust) you guys i love never in the 9 years ive been using you have a had any thing but great service
Spectacular! April 21, 2010 Craig R. Neeley I'm amazed that amazon is still selling this brilliant album for $5.99! One of the greatest freshman albums I've ever heard from the first track to the last. I've listened to this multiple times and am still blown away! Nothing short of phenomenal and I would love to see these guys live. A must buy!
Unique, Fresh Sound. Melody, Rhythm and Lyrics. April 19, 2010 Henry Lee (Trumbull, CT USA) I was hammered and it was around 1 AM when I first saw the video for Sweet Disposition. I remember that the song immediately sucked me in, and I was in a trance watching the video and enjoying the harmony and the building momentum of the song, and the chorus did not disappoint.
At the time, I was pretty well under the influence, so I sent myself an e-mail to investigate the song and the band later. The next day, I began my investigative work (sober) and found I was just as moved listening to the song for a second time. I decided to quickly preview a few of the other songs and really liked what I heard, so I purchased the entire album (a less frequent event for me these days).
The band is skilled, the lyrics are thoughtful and the music is pretty clean for a debut album ... almost too clean. These guys are good. They bring an original sound to the table as well (primarily in the vocals but also in the sense that they aren't afraid to mix harmony and falsetto with some upbeat percussion - usually it's one or the other).
I strongly recommend this album to anyone who is on the fence
really, really good April 9, 2010 L. Hill just so good, and i've been lucky enough to see them live. They don't seem scared to play out tracks a bit more progressively. 'Soldier On' is just amazing, takes ages to build up, but worth it.
